Dining at Astor Grill brought Wagyu steak, a perfect burger, gratin, and smoked mushroom soup, while breakfast at Vine Restaurant delighted with signature toffee pudding, spiced dates, and marvelous staff. The Spice Route Mary came alive with cumin, saffron, ras el hanout, and ginger, complemented by the refinement of the Guerlain Spa and the city’s largest pool. FAUCHON Paris Tea House dazzled with pink glamour, Happiness tea, and macarons that melted exactly as they should, while soaring ceilings and immense chandeliers set the stage for grandeur—classical luxury paired with ease in every detail.

Here, requests are not simply met, they are anticipated. When we needed medicine, the team discreetly arranged delivery from a pharmacy to our suite. Housekeeping pressed two garments with such perfection that I had never seen my clothes look better. The butler service was the quiet luxury of having someone who takes care of everything, from the smallest request to the most unexpected need. To have a butler on holiday is to finally understand what it means to rest. These gestures, invisible in their execution, define what makes The St. Regis Doha more than a hotel. It is a place where everything is done to make life easier for the guest.
Dining That Balances Indulgence and Character
Astor Grill delivered indulgence with confidence. Wagyu steak, Astor beef burger, corn and spinach gratin, smoked mushroom soup, each course was deeply satisfying, even the side dishes carried true flavor. Breakfast in Vine Restaurant was a highlight of our stay. The choice was lavish, yet thoughtful. The signature toffee pudding stood out, as did Qatari dates infused with cinnamon and cardamom. Most of all, we would like to compliment all the staff in Vine Restaurant for their marvelous service each morning.
The story of the Bloody Mary added depth to the table. Invented at The St. Regis New York, each St. Regis worldwide serves its own local interpretation. In Doha, the Spice Route Mary arrives alive with cumin, saffron oil, ras el hanout, ginger, etc. A drink that tells the story of caravans, souqs, and spice routes across Arabia.

The Guerlain Spa brought Parisian refinement to Doha. Treatments carried the signature elegance of the brand, while the largest pool in Doha stretched out like a private lagoon. Grand in scale yet peaceful in feel, it became a highlight of our stay.

Our journey ended at the Fauchon Paris Tea House, where Doha met Parisian glamour. Pink interiors, a café terrace, delicate chocolates, and macarons that melted exactly as they should, crisp shell, soft heart, pure indulgence. Fauchon is not just a name, it is Paris distilled into flavor and elegance. To sit here in Doha, surrounded by its signature pink glow, felt like stepping into a dream where French artistry and Qatari luxury meet. A kind lady recommended us the “Happiness” tea, smiling as she said, you will see, you will feel wonderful after drinking it. And she was right. The tea truly brought happiness, leaving us lighter, calmer, and perfectly at ease. It was an unexpected slice of Paris in Qatar.
